Illminster Visit

So because I'm a year six that means I'm going to a new school next year. There is 3 options for schools, there is Illminster, Gizint and Campion. I'm probably going to Illminster or Gizint. The other day we had a visit to Illminster we basically just went there for a day and saw what they do. So I arrive at our school and the Gizint and Campion people had already left. At 9:30 we got on a bus and we were going to Illminster.

When we arrived we got into this big hall sort of thing we waited round and they told us " I'm the principal here are our values" and what not. I did challenge which is a fitness thing there was also Xcel, scitech, bilingual and stuff but challenge seemed the most fun. We didn't do learning and maths we just did challenge all day.

After morning tea we went back into the gym and got split into two groups, the group I was in was we did this game where you had to be the first to grab a cone. It is sort of like musical chairs except the referee says something like head, knees, shoulders, cone and the first person to grab the cone wins and the loser has to do a burpee. We did four rounds of that and the we did this excercise thing it was twelve situps, eight box jumps, four burpees and then a run to this green fence. We did another four rounds of that which is fourty six situps, thirty six box jumps and sixteen burpees.

At Lunch we could get in the pool but we didn't I couldn't be bothered. I just played basketball for a bit and the bell rung. We did this random meditation stuff afterwards and we had to lie on the gross unmopped floor and have our hands on our stomach. We then played this game where there are ten taggers and everyone else runs around, and if you get tagged you have to go in a push-up position until someone crawls under you. Then we left and went back to wainui also I would rate that visit a solid 6/10.
